Privacy Policy — FamilyMan

Summary

FamilyMan sends no data to us. All family data stays on the family's devices and, if sync is turned on, in the family's own Google Drive.

Data the app stores

• The family data you enter (names, tasks, prayers, school attendance, goals, points, etc.) is stored on the device.
• Profile photos and a child's private notebook stay on the device only and are never sent anywhere.

Google Drive and sync

• Sync is optional. When enabled, you sign in with the family's Google account.
• The app requests only the drive.appdata scope: it can read and write its own files in a hidden app-specific folder and cannot see any other file in your Drive.
• Files are encrypted on the device with the family code before upload; nobody can read them without that code, including us.
• The app reads the account's email address only to show which account is linked.
• You can stop sync inside the app, and revoke access from your Google Account settings at any time.
• FamilyMan's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we don't do

• We run no servers that store your data.
• No analytics, no usage tracking, no ads.
• We never sell or share any data with anyone.

Children

The app is managed by a parent, who adds the children and controls their data. The data never leaves the family's devices and account.
